Our Story
Client-centered since the beginning
Our client-centered approach has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service, resulting in a portfolio largely driven by referrals and repeat clients who trust us with their most ambitious architectural visions. Specializing in single-family homes—from new builds and renovations to heritage retention—Leyland Architecture delivers comprehensive architectural services tailored to bring our clients’ visions to life.
High-end residential:
new builds, renovations and heritage retention
Specializing in high-end single-family homes, we take pride in designing luxurious new builds, transformative renovations, and heritage retention projects. To date, we have completed over 500 distinctive homes throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We have also participated in international projects and consultations extending to China, Japan, Palau, Finland, Sweden, and the renowned Terelj Hotel in Mongolia.

Navigating complex zoning
One of our firm’s standout strengths is our proven ability to navigate complex zoning areas, particularly Discretionary Zonings. Our successful designs within these spaces respect the existing streetscapes and meet rigorous discretionary guidelines, which has allowed us to contribute extensively to Vancouver’s prestigious First Shaughnessy District. Our reputation for excellence in working within these unique zoning requirements has earned us the respect of local jurisdictional authorities, enabling us to streamline construction stages and enhance efficiency for our clients.
